DragonBall Z Vortex, DBZVortex or DBZ Vortex is a fansite dedicated to Legendary Super Warrior Spriting
(LSW for short). LSW is an old yet popular turn-based Gameboy Colour game, who's simple yet loveable
sprite kind encited spriters of all kind to be interested in creating characters which hadn't been made
for the game (which sadly didn't have a sequel). Over time, styles have been applied to it, from new types
of shading to altering how the base of the characters look, but the core of LSW still remains to this very
day, here at DBZ Vortex.

Spriting: Spriting has been amazing this week. Eversoris has released another work of art with Buu's inner workings, where the Z-fighters were absorbed. Seto(Stevce) has revamped one of his old sprites, Oishii. Afrp(luffy) has made his final Ran'dum(or so he says) and started his brand new custom, who's name escapes my mind at the moment, but check it out, it's not too shabby.
Modly Activities: There hasn't really been any need for the Mods to be active this week, a few double posts, a topic or two being switched to the right section is really about all. So they've all been doing their part, give them a roun dof applause.
General Graphics: Shotoman posts new signatures and digital drawings all the time, although you only notice his topic's title changing, instead of new topics. It actually confused me on more than one occasion. (Colenol) Kinky is still keeping up with his drawing shop, and I am pretty sure he is still taking more requests, so make him work(Just kidding, don't request for the sake of requesting)!
Funnies: Afro(luffy): Cause...you can't set "perfection" as a number
Saiyanboy:No mah head you racist. Chaos: Ohh That big fat wobbly object was your head?

Editors: Nothing to say here, except expect a great layout change sometime soon.

Spriting: A LOT of sprites have been made this week, and the majority have been really great. Kobushi revamped his old Sekura sprite, and speaking of revamps; Seto(Stevce) also revamped his custom Carrera this week.
Lorezno posted a teaser of his new Thomas Bault sheet, and his sword animation sequence looks great. Afro(luffy) also revamped his main custom, Ran'Dum again. Axxon(456) revamped his main custom this week as well.
Damn, must be revamp your custom week or something.
Modly Activities: I think all the mods that have been on have been just as active as each other this week. There hasn't been any major problems either, so not much reason for them to go ballistic and crazy on warnings, so maybe that's why.
General Graphics: This week there has been a bit more activity in the General Graphics area of the forum. Mr.Chaos animated an avatar that couldn't be saved in .GIF format, and Shotoman posted too many signatures to count, or rather, to many to want to count. Speaking of Shotoman he also released a signature tutorial he made a while back.
Tails posted some maps about the planet of which his article takes place on.
Funnies: Nothing overly funny happened this week, so I'll give you guys a few random quotes from the quotes machine.

Editors: Nothing special with the editors, but as you can tell we are starting to get more active now.

Small Note: I have decided to drop the daily assessments, mainly because I'm not on every day to know what happens everyday, and it just doesn't fit in with the rest. Instead, anything that doesn't belong in any of the main topics will be under Other at the end of our newsletter.
Spriting: A few sprites have been revamped by their owner for the new year, and they are looking pretty nice. Jed(rulzu) almost had a break down with his AF project, but he got a few members to his team, so it's all good with him. Kobushi has made(in my opinion) the best base Trunks ever(so far).
Modly Activities: I think this week Frostt and Fortex have really stood out in their duties. Blues Light(your friendly neighborhood Admin) has dropped his duties due to real life biting him in the butt. Let's all remember him as he was, and respect him the same shall we?
General Graphics: Nothing much, as usual. Rage updated his drawing topic with a new picture of his character as a ninja with a mask on.
Funnies: Nothing especially funny this week. Dack found my comment on Rip's retro Vegeta sheet funny enough to sig, so here it is.
Ravage_Gokan Says: The nostalgia hit me in the ballz....Hard.
Editors: Tails is now an official member of the editorial crew. The majority of the rest of the editorial squad is going to be relieved of duty soon, although a handful of editors are still going to be updating(as I'm sure you have all seen).
Other: I just personally wanted to thank AB for allowing me to become an editor in the first place, followed by such a promotion, it's really spicing up Vortex for me. I would also like to thank(on behalf of the other editors as well) all of our readers out there, whether you be a member or not.
