DragonBall Z Vortex, DBZVortex or DBZ Vortex is a fansite dedicated to Legendary Super Warrior Spriting
(LSW for short). LSW is an old yet popular turn-based Gameboy Colour game, who's simple yet loveable
sprite kind encited spriters of all kind to be interested in creating characters which hadn't been made
for the game (which sadly didn't have a sequel). Over time, styles have been applied to it, from new types
of shading to altering how the base of the characters look, but the core of LSW still remains to this very
day, here at DBZ Vortex.
So welcome to the ultimate resource for Legendary Super Warriors Sprites!

After a pretty huge kick in the pants and rehauling of the VRP layout for sheets, we finally have some content to release (that was actually produced quite a bit of time before today, but was simply never published).
* Bojack (Pre Transformation) * Cooler (Form 4) * Future Trunks | Jacketless * Future Trunks (Super Saiyan) | Jacketless * Vegeta (Super Saiyan) | Cell Saga Armour
I'll be totally honest with you guys: I'm hitting a stage in my life (as many others no doubt are) where time for spriting is becoming minimal, as is the drive simply to persist in making them. As much as we can to make promises about releasing content, the cold fact is that it is unlikely that much more will be completed. I'm largely to blame for this, because moving into spriting in "LSWi" has made me not wish to sprite in the VRP style as much, as has my personal Sprite Den website. But even that may have declines in activity.
VRP has had a good run. It's probably produced the largest haul of sheets for an LSW team that Vortex has seen, sparking off inspiration for some and disdain from others. It's a project that Jay and I are proud of having co-run for the last two and a half years, and even more so for having seen your responses to them. In the future, maybe we'll produce more in-depth tutorials relating to them; at this point, VRP is officially a Freelance Project - anybody who produces a sheet for the style can have it added to the VRP Vault, and the status of 'VRP member' is simply a title for decor.
Thanks again everyone for your dedication to DBZ Vortex in the last four years, and hope you've enjoyed this week's update.

Okay, I have been trying to implement this idea of "widening" the editors. How so you ask? Simple. By letting spriters join in.
Apprently no spriters felt like spriting what they want to, how they want to, and get their work posted on the main site. Plus they could get a custom scouter on the forum. So, in a last ditch attempt to get this part of the Editor's P:BC started(and also to get my lazy ass spriting again) I have decided to start this off.
With none other than my Fan Fic and Comic star, who also happens to be my main custom on the forum.
Soka Jager; The Albino Saiyan
Every week I will update this with at least three(3) poses on his new LSWi(thanks Angryboy) sheet. As of now I have only one pose, but that soon will be changing
If any of you Vortexian's out there would like to sprite your customs, or start on an all new project(such as spriting a series of Goku throughout DBZ) just PM myself.
Ravage_Gokan is my username on the forum, so pm me there.
If for some reason you can't get a hold of me, since Angryboy's pm's are down, just post in General chat that you want to become an Editor, you don't have to do something sprite based, in fact, any idea's you have are welcomed. Just let me know.
So that is what I have for you this week, just a little heads up on what's going to be happening. I hope all my readers like what's going to be coming for them.
I might as well show you what I'm going to be sheeting.

You can also comment on it here, or at it's topic on the forum.

Spriting: Spriting has been amazing this week. Eversoris has released another work of art with Buu's inner workings, where the Z-fighters were absorbed. Seto(Stevce) has revamped one of his old sprites, Oishii. Afrp(luffy) has made his final Ran'dum(or so he says) and started his brand new custom, who's name escapes my mind at the moment, but check it out, it's not too shabby.
Modly Activities: There hasn't really been any need for the Mods to be active this week, a few double posts, a topic or two being switched to the right section is really about all. So they've all been doing their part, give them a roun dof applause.
General Graphics: Shotoman posts new signatures and digital drawings all the time, although you only notice his topic's title changing, instead of new topics. It actually confused me on more than one occasion. (Colenol) Kinky is still keeping up with his drawing shop, and I am pretty sure he is still taking more requests, so make him work(Just kidding, don't request for the sake of requesting)!
Funnies: Afro(luffy): Cause...you can't set "perfection" as a number
Saiyanboy:No mah head you racist. Chaos: Ohh That big fat wobbly object was your head?
Fresh off the quotes topic.
Editors: Nothing to say here, except expect a great layout change sometime soon.
Other: Nothing to say, except sorry for missing last week's issue.
